Hey!  About a week ago, I went to Lake Tahoe!

I figured I'd show you what I looked like when I got home...

what is making me nervous.

SCHOOL IS IN FOUR DAYS!

Ya. Scarey. I know.

So, hopefully I'll have locker 55, and this guy in a grade below me will stop hating me, my teachers will like me, Algebra won't be hard, the kids in my class won't freak me out, and that stuff.


I HAVE A STALKER!!!

Or, had. I went to my church campout, right? Super fun, but awkward at some points (you can read about THAT here). Anyway, I went to the playground with H, K, and M (H is a girl, K and M are guys). K brought his baby sister. This nine year old kid jumps in front of me (litterally, JUMPS) and looks at me with his freckles and flaming red hair and says, "Guess what? I'm going to follow you!"

I have never seen this kid before.

Then, seeing my look of, um, TERROR, he said "Well I just love babies" (I was holding K's sister)

And follow me he did. Pretending to keep his attention on the baby.

I handed the baby to H, and he stayed away from me. And the baby. Once I got the baby back, I had my stalker again.

So, K is kinda scaring him. And this nine year old kid runs up to me and yells "Your 20 year old brother is scaring me! And he's being a terrible parent!"

My 20 year old brother?

First, K is 13. Secondly, we are not related. Thirdly, PARENT?!

Nine year old stalker thought K's little sister was his little daughter.

Creeeeeepy.

Then nine year old stalker says "How old are you?

Me: "12."

His eyes lit up. "YOU'RE ONLY THREE YEARS OLDER THAN ME!"

This kid is scaring me by now.

I mouthed to K, H, and M, Help me!

Soon my stalker had to leave.

Phew.

Now, you might ask, why is that making you nervous now?

Well, I always feel like someone is staring at me now.

It's scaring me!

did I mention that Camp Harlow is on SUNDAY?!

I love camp so much. I love eating...um...interesting food with all my new friends (scroll down to hear about the interesting food....). I love going to the pool. I love rock climbing with complete strangers. I love talking with counselors. I love walking into camp with no friends, and coming out with a ton. I love being in a new place for a whole week. I love the break from reality. I love hearing God's word taught by an awesome camp pastor.

And guess what's special about THIS YEAR?

These girls that I babysit.... they are adorable. Their Dad is going to be my camp pastor! I am so excited, 'cause he brings his family with him! That means I get to go swimming with the girlies!

This is going to be awesome.

By the way.... wanna hear the interesting food story?

So last year this girl I met and my BFF since preschool were discussing their passion for grilled cheese sandwiches (ok maybe not passion.....but something like that). It was lunch time, and we were walking to the cafeteria. Guess what was for lunch? Grilled cheese sandwiches! So the girlies were getting a little crazy with the food, and the cheese came right off the bread. Like, it just slipped off. Weird, right? So then, the cheese got rolled up into a ball. She dropped the cheese, and, get this--the cheese bounced. It bounced! Just like a bouncy ball (aren't bouncy balls awesome? That is, if they are not made out of cheese...).

We did not finish our sandwiches.

THE CHEESE BOUNCED PEOPLE! IT BOUNCED!

now I may be getting over dramatic here, but it bounced!

Camp is in exactly one week! And this year the Dad of three girls I babysit is the Camp Pastor! I am suuuper excited:)

So, last night I spent the night with my cousins (super fun!). We watched a movie I had seen before, The Last Song. I cried and cried and cried (very loudly). And I kept crying until about 11:30 (the movie ended at 11). VERY sad, emotional, romantic, awesome movie. This girl named Ronnie goes to visit her Dad right after being arrested for stealing. She meets a rich dude who she thinks is a freak, but starts dating him when she sees that he is super nice (or course). Long story short - her Dad dies WHILE LISTENING TO HER PLAY A SONG ON THE PIANO THAT HE WROTE AND RONNIE FINISHED!!! You will understand why that is so emotional if you go see it (it's on Netflix).

THANKSGIVING!

the concert.

THE CONCERT WAS AWESOME!!! THERE WAS FRANCESCA BATTISTELLI, JEREMY CAMP, AND ADAM CAPPA (a friend of Jeremy Camp)!!! LOVED THEM ALL!!! I went to the concert a Francesca fan, and I came back LOVING THEM ALL LIKE NEVER BEFORE!!!

Francesca brought out her 13 month old son!!! He was so cute. She told him to say hi and he kissed the microphone. ;)

I learned that Francesca wrote Free to be Me when she was in college right after hitting a lawyer's car...oops...

Jeremy is super funny!!! When he was in junior high, he was trying to be cool and hang out with the cheerleaders and stuff. The problem was his dad's car. It was a Pinto (if you hit Pintos in the wrong place they blow up). Anyway, his dad picked him up one day from school and honked the horn, yelling, "Jeremy! Jeremy!"
So, Jeremy Camp tried to "be cool" while getting into the car.
The door wouldn't open.
So he tried to "be cool" while climbing into the window.
Jeremy Camp now says, "and when my daughters are older, I am picking them up from school in a Pinto so that they will know how I felt!"

At the Q&A, one of the questions was "How do you juggle family and your career?"
Jeremy and Francesca gave their answer, and Adam said, "I have a dog."
He showed us pictures on his phone. ;)

The photography field trip was so fun! I took a lot of photos. Half of the fun was hanging out with old friends! We laughed so hard the whole way home.

My Uncle, Uncle's girlfriend, my mom, and I went stand-up paddle-boarding!!! It was super fun - the BEST part of the trip!

I'm in Lake Tahoe again! I've been swimming in the lake a few times, went boating, went intertubing, and our pool (yes - OUR OWN POOL!) just got opened up last night.
