my mom - carole.

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

Mom-

Thanks for helping me with homework, and caring about my grades. Thank you for making sure I got a good education. Thanks for forcing me into ACE. I th
ought I was going to hate it. Mother knows best :)

Thanks for starting yet another branch under the Del Rio Amigos 4H Club. Again, I thought this was something I was going to dread. But you pushed me into it, and I enjoyed it.

Thank you for explaining things to me that I couldn't understand. I don't know if I've told you, but I don't know everything :) You understand more than I do.

Thanks for helping me start JazzyJeans, and for paying for start-up costs. I offered to pay back, but clearly moms can read minds, and you knew I really didn't want to pay for it. Thanks for refusing :)

Thanks for making me laugh. Thank you for laughing when I do something funny. Thank you for explaining jokes in the Comics when I just don't get the punchline. Thanks for sometimes not understanding the punchline along with me :)

Thanks for doing me hair, buying me clothes, and making sure I am all ready for an upcoming event. I really don't have everything together like I think I do.

I'm sorry for the times I was disrespectful and impatient. I'm sorry for interrupting conversations. Thanks for helping me realize that I am not an adult (I'm still realizing).

Obviously, I couldn't live without you.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
~Grace~

Grace, you show such maturity in this special tribute to your Mom. It is good to see someone as young as yourself express yourself so well. You know your limits, you know you are still growing and learning, and you appreciate the wisdom of your Mom and all she does for you. I am so proud of you! I love you, too!
