i got out my camera today.

Yes... I did! I went to the park with my 4-H group and took some pics!!!

I used Picasa 3.9 to edit these. I decided to put the edited and non-edited pictures together so that you can see the difference.

BUT...There are more programs we can use!!! The Blog Tap is a blog set up by a wesite designer, and it just helps out people who want help with blog stuff. I guest posted {here}.

Anyway, someone did a guest post on alternatives to Picnik. See it {here}.

I checked them all out, and my favorite is Pixlr: Express. It's easy to use, and I LOVE it!

It's been a while since I posted some pictures...


I found this crummy picture that I had taken from the car. I thought, what the heck, and went to work editing it.

It took two seconds. I just went crazy with the highlights and shadows.

And I have this:

I used Picasa, like I always do ;) I really like how the Dutch Brothers sign stands out, and how its SUPER dark at the bottom, and looks awesome at the top. You can see outlines of cars, and the sky looks totally fake. The original, blah. Edited, awesome! This wouldn't be a picture I would enter in fair or a photo challenge or anything like that, but it's cool to "have around." ;)
