um... a stalker maybe?

So, I had just finished 5th period. Algebra. It was fun. I had yearbook next, but I was hungry. I went to my locker to get some goldfish.

I always keep my locker unlocked. Actually, most of the school does. Almost all 7th grades, almost all 8th graders, and about half of the 9th graders are the only ones who lock their locker at all. Most high schoolers don't even own a lock. I keep my unlocked during the day, and lock it at night and during the weekends. Anyway, the point is that it was unlocked.

Where was I? Oh, ya. I wanted goldfish. So I went to my locker. As I open it, I see a note. The note said:

"We've been taking pictures of you. And we've been following you."

CREEPY!

I told everyone at yearbook. They all said, "Wow, that's creepy," or "It's like a stalker," or "Ooh, someone likes Grace!"

I told my mom (who happens to be the yearbook teacher), and she said "Ha, that's funny."

Thanks for the support, Mom.

Anyway, WHY DO I HAVE A STALKER? WHY ARE PEOPLE TAKING PICTURES OF ME?!

See ya!

school stories.

Ya, I blog about school too much, I know.

But I have funny/awesome/crazy/amazing stories to tell you!!!

On Monday...

This was before I knew anybody.
A: how old are you?
Me: 12
J: A, are you checking out Grace?

On Tuesday...
J (different than the one above): Hey, Mr. S, since you're a police officer, can you buy a taser?
Mr. S: Yes, I can.
J: Will you buy me one?
Mr. S: No. That would not be responsible of me.
Me: Will you buy me one?
Mr. S: Sure!
J: Oh so you'll buy one for a girl but not me?
Mr. S: Correct.

On Friday...
We got into groups of three in English. I was in a group with S and C. A (same A in the story on Monday) was in a group next to me.
I forgot what A was doing, but S said "A, stop hitting on Grace and let us work!"

So... school has been awkward. But funny.

During lunch, people get out their guitars and start singing. It's really cool. Think of Hollywood Arts from Victorious... outside, lots of music, awesome funny people... it's a lot like that.

And I love it!

What school do you go to? What do you like about it?

new school.

I LOVE UVC!!!

It is soooo awesome. The guys in my class are really funny. The girls are really sweet. I love my teachers. I convinced my Bible and Study Hall teacher that I am his favorite student.

So... ya.

I'm posting about my favorite makeup tomorrow!

school is starting.

On Monday.

Ya.

Super excited, but super nervous.

One of my best friends, J (he's awesome), I'm relying on him to show me around. We have English, Science, and Social Studies together. The classes I'm taking:

Bible
English
Science
History
Lunch (my fav so far.... just kiddin)
Algebra 1
Yearbook
Study Hall

Fun, right? Algebra 1 and Yearbook are both high school subjects. That makes me sound smart :D

My parents want me to go for valedictorian. I don't wanna. I don't wanna flunk every class, but I don't want my whole life to be school, you know? Sure, I'll aim for straight A's. That would be great. But a B isn't gonna kill me. A C might, but not a B.

Anyway, I'm excited :)

Please be praying! I am mostly afraid of getting lost in the campus!

P.S. Book Cover DIYs!!!

please help me.

I'm going to a new school.

Ya, Grace is going to a five-day-a-week-school! I've never stepped foot in a real school before. I was homeschooled until the 5th grade, and then I started going to ACE, a school that's only three times a month. So, I was mostly homeschooled.

But this fall, when I enter the 8th grade, I'm going to go to UVC. And I need your help. I am super scared. I've been wanting to go to this school for a long time. I have lots of friends there, it has lockers (my life's dream has come true!), and it seems really cool. But I am freaked out out of my mind. HELP ME!!!

I don't know how to go to a real school. If you guys could leave some tips in the comments, or email me at gracygirlblog@gmail.com, that would be AMAZING!!!!!!!

Thank you so much!

ace and drama club.

Hello, again!
A few days ago, I said I was signed up for drama club. IT WAS AWESOME! Have you ever watched 'Who's Line is it, Anyway?' Well, lots of kids at ACE have. We played that TV show! It's like a party. There is a host, and about four other people. Everyone except for the host picks a feeling. I picked shy. You knock on the door (if you're not the host) and start acting your feeling. Since I was shy, I chewed my shirt, and didn't walk in the door when it was answered. The host said, "You can come in". I mumbled, "Okay" and walked in. It's hard not to laugh through the whole game! And there were lots of people at drama, so we played twice. One group was the audience, one group played the game. Then we switched. It was so funny! Through the game, you interact with people. Like, the host said to me (after I hid under the chair) "We have cupcakes". I shook my head. I laughed right there, too! When the host thinks she knows every one's feeling, she says them all. It's a really fun game! I think I'm going to really enjoy drama club!

ace.

Academy for Character Education. Yes, I am going to a public charter school. It's kinda cool. Only once a week, homework is not that bad, and the girls there are REALLY nice. Right away I had friends. I walked into that classroom, and my friendship began. The thing I don't like is that Cromwell's Boy (the school book we have to read) is so boring. Let's change the subject. There is a ton of homework, but it's just like being home schooled. Five days of the week I do school at home, and two days of the week I am an hour away from home (it's a long drive). On Thursday there is club day and math tutoring. I am signed up for drama club. On Tuesday, it's the real thing. I am also learning Latin in ACE. I all ready know some Latin, but not too much. Want to know how to count to ten?

Unus (OO-nus)
Duo (doo-O)
Tress (same in Spanish)
Quatouo (quat-OO-o)
Quinque (quin-que)
Sex (sAx)
Septem (sep-tem)
Octo (oct-O)
Novem (nOv-em)
Decem (deh-ch-em)

That's how you count to ten in Latin!

ACE is awesome!
