Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked is a cute movie. Alvin is still uncontrolable, Simon is still smart (SPOILER ALERT: Simon does change because of a spider bite and becomes French, funny, and daring). Theodore is still chubby, loveable, and makes stuff for Dave;)
And there's the Chipettes! They are still all about sparkles, dresses, and bright colors. But, they can get a little prideful about their fame, great dance moves, and awesome voices.
***NOTE THAT THIS SUMMARY MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS***
The movie starts with Alvin, Simon, Theodore, Brittany, Jeanette, Eleanor, and Dave going on a family vacation: a very expensive cruise. Alvin is, of course, always causing trouble. To make matters worse, Dave finds out that Ian, the Chipmunks' old manager, is on the ship, and he wants revenge on them. Soon, Alvin gets so crazy, and flies everyone to an island on a kite! There they find a crazy woman who has been on the island for ten years! But her story doesn't make too much sense; is she lying about something?
Romance: LOTS of dating through the whole movie, flirting
Violence: Almost falling off cliff, volcano erupts, watching a very scarey movie,
Other: Kidnapping, revenge, lying, disobedience is somewhat encouraged
