me, kindle fire, and your opinion.

First of all, I am so sorry I haven't blogged in a while! I've been busy babysitting and....

USING MY NEW KINDLE FIRE!!!

Yep. I just finished saving up the money. I marched (or, had mom drive me) down to Staples and purchased my Fire. YAY!!!

So... I need your opinion about The Hunger Games. Not the movie... the book. See, I want to read it, but my Mom isn't too big on the idea. So, keeping in mind that I am a 12-year-old Christian girl, please (please PLEASE!) comment your review of the book and say whether or not you think it is an appropriate book for a preteen girl. Thank you so much!!!

Fist of all, I AM SO JEALOUS!!!! I've been saving up for a Kindle Fire but not doing very well as I always find some good books to buy... :) Anyway, congratulations on getting one!!!!! :) Second, yes, I think it would be okay for you to read...but you should have your mom read it first to make sure there are no parts that she really doesn't want you to read. There's one part {what I'm guessing people call the "Cave Scene"} where the two main characters share a sleeping bag. It was for survival...but still. I think he should've been all the way on the other side of the cave. Okay, wow... I'm not sure that helped you much but I hope it did!

I read the hunger games. They were really good but there were some parts that it sort of not so good. It really matters most of how mature you are in person so It's best think and pray about it! Thought this book would not benefit you. It's a great book thought. I SO WANT I KINDLE FIRE!

You are so lucky to get one of those! I just got an mp4 player so a kindle is a long way off. LOL :P

I haven't ever read the Hunger Games so I can't help you, but I'm very interested in reading them. :)

My Mom is previewing the books right now on her Kindle, because she'd like to read them as a family. I would suggest that your mom read them first, and then maybe you could read them together!? I can't wait to read them myself! She won't let us watch the movie until we read the book. :[
